Bands like Zero Hour, Watchtower, Dream Theater, and Fates Warning. Music is: Incredibly technical and virtuosic; only for the most talented of metal musicians. You have gifts and skills that others envy and therefore aspire to obtain and/or overshadow. You love the chance to show off and impress others, but you never lose sight of the goal. Why do something simply when you can do it over-the-top?!?
Bands like Primal Fear, Rhapsody, Hammerfall, and Stratovarius. Music is: Oftentimes leaning towards the faster side, with tons of melody and lyrics that beg you to sing along. You are independent. You know what you like and you know you are cool for liking it, and where as with most other people would see this as a character flaw, with you they see it as charming. You aren’t afraid to be embarrassing, and this is also one of your strengths, whereas with most others it’d be a flaw.
