The Bullys are a rock n roll band. Straight up, no bullshit, rock n roll, from New York City. Some people say we sound like this or that, blah blah blah. The Bullys dont care. We do what we like, and like what we do. We dont take things too seriously. We even have a sense of humor. We is real smart too. During the day, some of us even got jobs and stuff. Our music is about good times, hard times, sex and booze, making fun of stupid things, whatever, but its all real life shit.
The Bullys started back in 1997, when Johnny Heff wrote some ass-kickin songs, and put 5 dirtbags together to play em. Johnny was the mastermind of the Bullys and without him this band would never have existed. Johnny was also a NYC Firefighter, and was one of the heroes that went into the World Trade Center on 9/11/01 to save others, and didnt make it out. Johnny will always be the inspiration behind this band.
Marky Ramone produced our first record, Stomposition, in 1998, and helped us get rolling. We havent stopped since. A zillion shows later, and we are still the same ol knuckleheads out looking for a good time.
