BUMPER attracts a mixed clientele and being in the heart of Liverpool's heaving student quarter an abundance of them are usually to be found lounging around on the comfy sofas, or tearing up the dancefloor! Meanwhile Liverpool's 'nocturnal' community known as 'the workers', -(from other venues and bars in the area) often clock off and head straight to BUMPER for a well earned pint. The community vibe also attracts 'the performers' -the DJ's, artists and gigging musicians from the Liverpool scene.
BUMPER has a cool, underground crowd with a common belief that 'its all about the music'.
Mixed in with the regular weekly nights are some very special events. the LAKE OF STARS nights are legendary, the BUMPER BATTLE OF THE BANDS, held every year, is known as the best in Liverpool and many touring bands from around the country choose BUMPER to show off their talents to the Northwest.

The decor is that of a chic 70's drinks party. Authentic leather furniture to lounge on below a gallery of the coolest art from the last 40 years.
The back room is perfect for rocking the night away to some top bands
or getting down on it till the early hours.
The bar is stocked with premium spirits, Havanah Club Rums and a plethora of Vodkas. In the fridges we have speciality beers such as Bellevue Cherry and Raspberry flavours and Dos Equis, a fine, smooth beer from Mexico for those hot Summer months.
