The Bungalows resurface in 2009 with a brand new single - "KILLER". Recorded at Big Jesus Burger Studio & produced by Burke Reid, the latest offering shows the bands distinctive 'garage by the sea' styling they have made their own. Hot off the press, track 'Killer' has already been added to high rotation on Sydney’s FBI radio and featured on Triple J 2009 with Richard Kingsmill.
Favourites amongst the surfing fraternity, The Bungalows have had past tunes featured on countless surfing DVD's from Australian Surfing Life, TRACKS and Electric Eyewear. The band have toured up and down Australia’s east coast for the past 12 months and have been rewarded with spot airplay on Triple J and high rotation on FBI Radio for tracks HERE I AM, LOSE MY MIND, GUNS CAN KILL and WE STOLE THE THUNDER.
Fresh from their east coast tour with QLD outfit Rogerthat, The Bungalows have also recently shared the stage with many a fine band including Children Collide, The Beautiful Girls, British India, Little Red, Yves Klein Blue, The Mess Hall, End Of Fashion, Rocket Science, Cloud Control, Fait Accompli, Young & Restless, Goons Of Doom and many more...
KILLER is the first track to be lifted from the forthcoming album, Come Down From The Mountain (and into the sea) - to be released Autumn 2010 thru our friends at MAKEyourself RECORDS...
