The Buzzkillers started in early 2004 where they began working hard towards playing music that they loved, that people would enjoy, and would take something from. They began to win crowds over, city by city through their honest and energetic shows.
After releasing 2 e.p.s which were recorded at Las O Las Studios by Tim Dittmar who has worked with such bands as Dynamite Boy, The Murdocks, and Slow Motion Picture, distribution began through Red Eye under Hairball 8 records. The planetary Group also began a national campaign to get the records promotion and publicity. They embarked on 3 west coast tours and one east coast tour to promote these as well.
The Buzzkillers have also established a foothold in the Austin music scene and have shared the stage with bands such as the Mad Caddies, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Buck-O-Nine, The Toasters, MU330, Streetlight Manifesto, Against All Authority, and Whole Wheat Bread.
They have just released their first full length entitled Live, Try, and Die which has a total of 20 songs filled with intense, energetic, politically and socially based messages, promoting unity across the world. They are touring and promoting this record to the full extent of their capabilities where they have now played close to 200 shows in the last 2 years. They believe in the true D.I.Y. method and work hard for everything they get. One will not be disappointed after working with the Buzzkillers; that they guarantee.
