Carl later took the role as bass player for Smokehouse which toured with national acts including Ratt, Bon Jovi, Dokken, Whitesnake, Robin Trower, Pat Travers, Joan Jett, Autograph, Rick Derringer, Ted Nugent, Molly Hatchet, Foghat, Cheap Trick, UFO, Montrose and Metallica.And Recently Toured with Dr.X .
