.. .... Cabin Crew, is the exciting new production duo hailing from Sydney, Australia DJ/Producer RobKAY and Producer/Engineer Ben Garden. Having already had international dancefloor success in the last few years with productions under the Aviators tag, they look set to continue the momentum with this dynamic new project. .. .. Rob and Bens love of sound goes back to their early high school days in Canberra when they could often be found experimenting with synths and computers in the music rooms at lunchtime. Rob had already begun to DJ when he was 14, while Ben had been learning piano from age 6. After several years spent exploring other creative avenues their paths crossed again in 2000 and the seeds for what would become Cabin Crew were first sown. The first track to be released was "Aviators feat Lady K - Poison 2 My Mind" on A Higher Sound Records, which achieved a number 6 on the UK DMC house chart. A rework of the Soul 2 Soul classic "Back To Life" saw great support from many world class DJ's including Louie Vega, Ben Watt, Miguel Migs and Brian Tappert. This track is slated for a release shortly on well respected US house label Soulfuric Records. More recently remixes for Craig Obey and the Elektrik Force have flown high in the Australian Aria Club chart hitting ..1 for several weeks running with Hypmatize which featured the vocals of Chance (USA). .. .. RobKAY currently holds residencies at the legendary house night in Sydney - Kink also at Kinki & Minque both in Canberra. He has played alongside many of the worlds best DJs including DJ Falcon, Mark Knight, Kaskade, Jay-J, Didier Sinclair, Mark Doyle and Chris Lum. He was also voted ..1 DJ in his homestate of Canberra in the In The Mix Top 50 poll for the last 2 years. As well as his work with Rob, Ben has been producing and composing for TV shows in Sydney for the last 6 years. In addition he is working on an album of pop infused 80's electronica with his brother Josh, called Grafton Primary. .. .. Together as Cabin Crew the boys are ready to rack up the hours in the cockpit!
