The Cable Company is a rock n' roll band from Nashville, TN.
They are the greatest supergroup you have never heard of. Made up of members from various defunct bands of the once-heralded indie label, Black Label Empire (Communist, Ultra Vulgar, Andy Bodean and The Bottom Boys, and Dr. Dook, just to name a few), The Cable Company formed in 2007 with the up and coming East Nashville label, Waterworks Entertainment. The music of the Cable Company is steeped heavily in piano and guitar, while covering a wide range of pop influences from The Beatles and The Band to Ween and Thin Lizzy. In July of 2008, The Cable Company released their 4 song Do-It-Yourself EP, titled "Synidcation." The release is simply a taste test of their full length album that should be completed sometime this fall at the Waterworks studio. The song "Beached Whale" is also featured on the first Waterworks Entertainment Compilation CD that also features music by Rosemary, Flyaway Minion, and many more artists.
