Cafe Studios has its very own in-house professional drum tutor running lessons....
After graduating from The London Music School and The British Academy of New Music, Gareth Trice has over 14 years of drum experience.
Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced drummer and want to develop your skills we can have lessons catered to your specific requirements.
Gareth's aim is to provide people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to develop their music skills and explore their own playing potential.
Cafe Studios has its very own in-house Guitar Tutor providing lessons and guitar services including setups and servicing, electrics and wiring....
Nigel Garner recently joined the team at Cafe Studios. With over 20 years experience, and long established on the gigging circuit, Nigel is able to show you tips and tricks in rock guitar playing including amplification and pedal setup.
"In my experience, most rock guitarists just want to pick up the guitar and go for it, without getting too bogged down in all the theory side of things......I can teach you how to make your guitar playing stand out from the crowd and get you noticed."

About me:
Cafe Studios was established in May 2008 and is committed to making music accessible to all. We are conveniently situated in Lowestoft and offer ample free parking for all our customers. Our facilities are excellent and our prices are low...we desire to give everyone the opportunity to develop their musical skills through any genre or medium.
A full Guitar Service is also available including guitar servicing and set up, electrical and wiring. Turn around is 1 week although this is may vary depending on the nature of the repair. ..
LEARN....
Saturdays is 'tutoring day' at Cafe Studios when in-house drum, guitar and bass guitar tuition is available ...private or group lessons...beginners introduction classes, workshops and grading.
There is no age limit for students and staff hold current CRB checks.
Our qualified and experienced Tutors and Staff are always on-hand for guidance.
As from September 2008 Cafe Studios will be the home of The Drum Shed and a newly formed Guitar Club. Both will be held on a Saturday and will be open to musicians of all ages and abilities who wish to improve their abilities without the formality (and cost) of lessons.
REHEARSE....
Cafe Studios is a superb place for musicians to rehearse as well as setting a social scene for band members and friends.
Each studio has ample space and brand new equipment and are available to hire by the hour.
Drinks and snacks are available in the newly refurbished foyer.
RECORD....
We can offer top quality recording services available in 3 packages
Package A - £10
Live recording of rehearsal, edited and EQ'd onto CD so that you have a reference of the songs you have been working on during your practice..Package B - £70
3 hours recording or 4 tracks, edited and mixed down. Over 3 hours or more than 4 tracks add £15 an hour. Laser etched CD in presentation case
Additional copies of CD - £1.50 each
Additional laser etched CD's - £4 each
Package C - £120
3 hours recording or 4 tracks, edited and mixed down. Over 3 hours or more than 4 tracks add £15 an hour.
Promotional pack: Laser etched CD with band logo or photo complete with detailed Band Biog in presentation folder.
Additional packs - £10 each
We can also do acoustic recording, vocal over-dubs on existing tracks.
