"I've been around since the band did their first live show back in 1999.
Stunned by their energy and attitude already then, I was assured that these guys were the long-awaited hopes of rock music.
The four young and maladjusted men have grown a little bit older, and maybe even a little wiser. Their mission is, however, the same - delivering high quality rock 'n' roll music and gaining total world domination.
In 2007 the boys took a highly deserved victory in the Turku Bandstand competition, after which the single In You Face was released. At present day THE CAJUNGA is finishing their debut album and I've been fortuntate to have a listen to some of the tracks from the coming album. I'd say that it's a fascinating blend of rock and pop music and I have a strong feeling that it'll become a true classic.
It has been a spectacular journey so far - small continuous steps for the band, but one huge step for rock 'n' roll.
