I'm passionate about my work and take great pride in the quality that is produced.
Each garment and accessory I design is unique as well as stylish and comfortable. I love incorporating the art of applique into the pieces designed.
I use a variety of fabrics; quilters, batiks, and many sustainable fabrics. All fabrics are prewashed, seams are straight stitched, serged and top stitched where necessary. Appliques are fused, backed, tightly satin stitched and tied off several times.
**Wear with Confidence** !!
I'm truly inspired by my beautiful son Camden who consistently reminds me to be myself in a world that's trying to make me like everyone else.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for checking out my creations! Feel free to email me with your thoughts and feedback or if you just want to say Hey! : kendra@thecalicokids.com

Ladies and Gentlemen... Rad Kadillac Productions is pleased to present a Saturday night Dance Riot that will bring together some of the most talented musicians, artists and organizers involved in the "Good Life" scene. We promise a diverse evening of music and people for a very special event as we bring together Somasphere and extremely special guests Cen Gesey Collab. Movin' and groovin' will be a must as local Live Electronica group Somasphere combines forces with the one off eclectic "super group" Cen Gesey Collab which features Omaha scene staples Brent Crampton, Kethro of Lightning Bug and the off-kiltered Chris Gooris. The performers will alternate throughout the evening keeping the vibe fresh and the masses in full boogie mode.
Tickets are only $7 dollars at the door for this all ages event (under 18 must have waiver on file) on Saturday, November 21st at the Waiting Room in Omaha.
Happy Monday to you. I just realized that you are 101. That's cool, 'cause Grant's FB says he's 68. You two are, obviously, wise beyond your years. Send me a FB message and let me know what Camden might like for Christmas. OK? Peace
Rad Kadillac and HighLucyNation Productions are proud to present...
1320 Recording artists Two Fresh as they prepare to make their "Good Life" debut Saturday Night, November 14th at the Bourbon Theatre in Lincoln. Two Fresh has been dropping beats all over the globe to growing audiences and we couldn't be more excited for them to release their sonic bombs all over the Bourbon on a Saturday night! Fans of Pnuma Trio, Big Gigantic, Pretty Lights and all things that get you movin' and groovin' will dig Two Fresh. Local dance purveyors INFLECT and Discoball will get the floor prepped for the main event.
Two Fresh consists of an inseparable pair of twin producers, Sherwyn and Kendrick Nichols, who have been making beats and playing music together since they were fifteen years old. They are now accompanied live by drummer Colby Buckler. Now only twenty, the twins just released their first album entitled "The Baker's Dozen." DOWNLOAD THEIR DEBUT 1320 RECORDS RELEASE... FREE ... ((((hugs my sister))))) we need to catch up sometime soon! I hope things are well with you and the family!!! sending lots of butterfly kisses your way!
The Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah will perform at the Waiting Room Monday night!! Don't miss your chance to see this rap superstar in a club setting. Dust off your copies of "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)," his '96 debut album "Ironman," Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx," or some of his more recent releases including "Supreme Clientele," "Fishscale," "The Big Doe Rehab," or go grab his new album "Ghostdini: Wizard of Emerald City" which dropped on Sept. 29th and then tell me you're not excited for this show. Get your tickets early this event will sell out!! Few artists make an impact as complete as the one Matisyahu has made. Here was a true original, a Hasidic Jewish musician from New York City singing reggae songs about his religious devotion. True originals, though, don’t stay put for long, and on his bold new album, Light, 29-year-old Matisyahu proves that there’s much more to his artistry than might initially meet the eye. Don't miss your chance to see him live at one of the best venue's in the country Thursday night at the Slowdown. Get your tickets early this event will sell out!!
Stop by soon to check out my new creations. Let me know if you see anything you like or if you're interested in a one of a kind custom piece. Have a wonderful day!
We are so flippin' excited for the return of some of our favorite performers (and good friends) to the "Good Life." Everytime EOTO hits the stage it is different every night as it is always 100% improvisational. I must add that it is always 100% BAD ASS as well! Live Breaks, Drum and Bass goodness from two incredible musicians. This is going to be an amazing night of music and surprises as we take our Halloween Event to another level. We wanted everyone to fully understand that this will be THE Halloween Event in our area! Local Live Electronica studs Somasphere will be on hand to kick-off the festivities. I don't know if you have seen these guys lately but they are going big and we couldn't be more proud that they are representing our region! This will be a perfect way to get the spirits summoned for what will be a night of scary good times! Pirate Transmissions will be on hand to spook your senses with visual stimulation. Looking forward to seeing you all getting down in your costumes as EOTO returns to spread the good vibes and get you all movin and groovin. ALL OF THIS FOR ONLY $13 IN ADVANCE...Purchase advance tickets at ETIX.com or the Bourbon Theatre coffee shop.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are extremely pleased to announce the arrival of Lotus to the "Good Life" Thurs. Oct. 22nd to send the Slowdown into orbit. The return of the Live Electronica heavyweights will be in support of their two new EPs Oil and Glass and Feather on Wood which will be released Oct. 6th. We are very excited to have Omaha as a stop on their massive 40+ city fall tour. We know they are just as excited to get back to the "Good Life" and get y'all movin' and groovin'. The last time Lotus played the Slowdown in Omaha it was to a packed house and this time with London 4 piece The Egg making the trip across the pond to open the show we fully expect a sellout event. Get your tickets soon for this ALL AGES event @ www.etix.com. Looking forward to seeing you all at the show!
