The Calvarymen Quartet was formed in 1956, in Flint, Michigan, and has been a leading force in southern gospel music ever since. With present day members Aden Springsteen- Tenor, Barry Maust- Lead, Steve Ratliff- Baritone, and Darrell Young-Bass, these men continue to minister through music. The style of music may have changed a little, but the message is still as powerful today, as it was 50 years ago.The present members bring a new and exciting sound to the stage with the help of their producer, Bob Caldwell.
Barry Maust is the lead singer for the Quartet. Barry makes his home in Mechanicsburg, Ohio. He has been with the Quartet for 15 years. Barry is an Assistant Director for Choice books, and spends his non-singing time traveling the eastern, and mid-west U.S. servicing displays for the book company.
Darrell Young is the bass singer for the group, and makes his home in Flint, Michigan. Darrell has been with the Quartet for 12 years. Darrell's full time job is working for General Motors where he has 30+ years with the company. Darrell also serves as the booking agent for the Calvarymen. He enjoys spending his extra time with his wife Rhonda Joy, his children, and his grand-kids. Darrell is also an official for the Michigan High School Athletic Assoc.
Steve Ratliff sings the Baritone part for the Quartet. Steve lives in Davison, Michigan, with his wife, Ranee, and their four children: Alicia, Eric, Jason, and Sarah. They attend the Davison Missionary Church. Steve is employed by General Motors and enjoys boating with his family and playing tennis. At the age of ten, Steve began playing the piano and organ. By the time he was a teenager, he was singing in school, and in church musicals. "I've always felt that music ministry is Gods calling on my life, and what better way is there than to minister with the Calvarymen Quartet. I am blessed ! ".
Aden Springsteen brings his smooth tenor to complete the Calvarymen Quartet. Aden resides in Madison Heights, Michigan with his wife, Janet and their children Taylor, Adrienne, Ethan, and Harlan. A Carpenter by trade, Aden has been singing most of his life. He attended Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, where he studied vocal performance and trumpet.
Together these men bring a love for the Lord that spills out in thier performances. You will see that worshiping the Lord can be a fun experience, and that God is still in the business of touching, healing, and changing lives if you will just allow him to.

One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched Statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree.. Somewhat Sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked over the bird with a stick. When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under Their dead mother's wings. The loving mother, keenly aware of Impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the Tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing That the toxic smoke would rise.
She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her Babies. Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her Small body, the mother had remained steadfast ...because she had Been willing to die, so those under the cover of her wings would live.
