The Canary Lookin' for contributors for Issue #9, due out soonish! Posted at 4:08 PM Jun 3 view more
About me: An usually-monthly zine based out of Oswego, NY, the goal and intent of The Canary exists within (and beyond) the creative articulation in all narratives, forms and modes. Through an open minded appreciation for all who create, this zine exists to bridge gaps and create compassionate connections at a time when disconnection lingers too near to the heart.
All submissions are accepted and, more importantly, warmly welcomed!
Please email thecanaryzine@gmail.com (which will be read by Jules & Colin) with any submissions, questions or events.
Who I'd like to meet: Artists & canaries & people of all means, modes, shapes, sizes, inspirations, aspirations, thoughts, actions, et cetera.
Thanks for adding us! We have a community arts and outreach table in our museum so feel free to contact us if you would like to display/give out your works.
thanks so much, we were glad to have been a part of such an awesome and fresh experience in a town we'd never played before. we're definitely looking forward to playing Oswego again...
the old Oswego board is back up and running with a few kinks to be worked out. My good friend Mikey Jay is going to be taking care of most of the work because he is a pal and I have limited access to the internerd.
Nonetheless: this is an attempt to re-vitalize what could, and still can become a vital tool for communication regarding shows, bands you are in, events, get togethers and ideas from the minds of many.
if you have already registered an account, I encourage you to give a helping hand and tell a friend of ours who attend these shows and shares the same passion for music that we do.
you can help by reposting this bulletin and registering, the more people who talk, the more interesting and successful this can become.
