After only half a year under their collective belt, The Canned Goods have already established themselves as a formidable force on the front lines of the rich 519 music scene. With member's ranging from 13 to 17 years of age, and a sound that has been compared to everyone from The White Stripes, to Tom Waits, to Rage Against the Machine, The Canned Goods play in a distinct, aggressive style that you won't quite be able to pin down, but will still force your hips to maintain constant motion.
Their onstage ferocity and disarming stage presence is quickly becoming a staple amongst the local scene. Go to a TCG show expecting to have a good time.
Since the sedimentation of their lineup in early 2009, The Canned Goods have shared the stage with the likes of The Reason, The Kramdens, The Junction, Lifestory:Monologue, The Johnstones, DD/MM/YYYY, Shiloh (yes, that chick from the Family Channel), Moglee, The Monster Show, and Street Pharmacy to name a few.
