From an early age Steven Finn’s ears were filled with the music of Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Johnny Cash and old time country music. Aged 15 he began teaching himself the guitar, learning songs like Leadbelly’s ‘Bourgeois Blues’ and Charlie Daniels’ ‘The devil went down to Georgia’. On hearing Bob Dylan songs Finn started to write his own words and in doing so found a lifelong passion for Jazz and Folk Blues, a getaway car he could drive. When he turned seventeen he began playing guitar for British Harmonica Champion Dave Aston and from him picked up many harmonica tunes. In 2005 he went on a two year tour as Emiliana Torrini’s main guitarist which took him around the world, playing concerts at the Montreaux Jazz festival supporting Elvis Costello, Glastonbury Festival, and a boat shed in remote Iceland with Belle and Sebastian. As a solo performer Steven has supported Rory McCleod, Martin Carthy and The Beautiful South amongst others. Early 2008 saw Finn release his debut album ‘Houdini’s Blues’, an album of sparse beauty which was well received by critics and audiences alike. In May 2009 Steven embarks on his first solo tour of Germany.

ja, ist nicht so schlimm. Uli und ich haben noch überlegt ob wir einfach trotzdem kommen, aber ich hatte voll Kopfschmerzen und dann wars irgendwann auch schon so spät...Aber mal sehen, vielleicht schaffe ichs ja am 1.7. DARREN HAYMAN (ex-HEFNER) (UK) Der leicht Nerdig wirkende Brite ist ein songwriter wie er britischer eigentlich kaum sein kann. Sein Output ist enorm : Vier Alben mit seiner früheren Band HEFNER und nach deren Auflösung im Jahr 2002 folgten weitere sechs , die er (fast) im Alleingang komponierte und einspielte, und er nahm in Summe zwölf Sessions für den verstorbenen John Peel auf. Er und Hefner genießen nach wie vor internationalen Kultstatus. Gerade erschien mit “Pram Town“ sein zehntes Album, aufgenommen mit einem Folk-Orchester, besehend aus mitgliedern von u.A.
