Billy Joel, Johnny Cash, Ben Folds, classic rock and classic country
Here's a video for U2's "Window In The Skies" that I dig. If you've ever had to put existing footage to music to make it look like it actually syncs up, it makes this video that much more impressive...
This video is for a rock band called Warner Drive. Kind of a hard rock with punk influences type of band. Not usually my type of music, but these guys are pretty good. And man, that security guard in the video is a dashing fellow isn't he?
I don't really have a favorite film, unlike my college roommate Douglas Eingurt who LOVES "The Cutting Edge". He actually owns two copies, just in case one goes bad. Oh, sure, he'll deny it if you ask him about it. He's even been heard to say that I'M the one who likes the movie. But trust me, it's his favorite movie of all time.
Like I said, I don't really have a favorite, but if I were forced to chose, "A Christmas Story", "Groundhog Day", and "The Princess Bride" would be high on the list.
Last 10 movies I saw in a theater (most recent at the top of the list): --The Express --Religulous --Hamlet 2 --The Dark Knight --Hellboy II --Wanted --Wall*E --The Incredible Hulk --Indiana Jones And The Kindom Of George Lucas Ruining My Childhood --Speed Racer

Television
Jeez, it'd be easier to list the shows I don't watch. But here's a list of what I'm currently into: Pushing Daisies, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal, Jericho, The Office (both BBC and NBC versions), Friday Night Lights, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, Firefly, Scrubs, My Name Is Earl, The Wire, Arrested Development, Simpsons, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Entourage, Extras, Sports Night, Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, 30 Rock, Psych...
Now here's a list of the shows YOU should watch. I can't say much for the content in some of these programs, but the mixes will be out-STANDING!

Books
As you can see from my television list, I don't have a lot of time to read books. I do, however, read many periodicals including Newsweek, Entertainment Weekly, Reader's Digest, Comic Buyer's Guide, and about 20-30 comic books a week.
Of the books I have read, I would count "To Kill A Mockingbird", "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", and "Good Omens" among my favorites.
Here's a list of the last few books I've read (Oldest to most recent with a letter grade that will serve as the briefest of commentaries as to whether or not I liked the book):
"All The Stars Come Out At Night" - F
"The Gun Seller" by Hugh Laurie - A
"Friday Night Lights" - B-
"Overheard In New York" - C
"Who Moved My Cheese?" - D+
"Our Town" by Thorton Wilder - A
"Compromised" by Kate Noble - B+
"Crooked Little Vein" by Warren Ellis - C
"Dark Star" by Alan Furst - F
"The World's Shortest Stories Of Love And Death" - B
Heroes
I don't really have anyone I emulate or look to as a model as to how I should live my life. I just try to treat people well like my parents taught me. So, I guess then you could make the argument that my parents are my heroes.
Oh, wait. Batman. Batman's my hero. Forget all that mushy stuff about my parents. Definitely Batman.
Speaking of heroes, here's a trailer I wrote for a new breed of hero. (Thanks, Jon, for uploading this) Created by Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy, meet The Amazing Screw-On Head!

About me:
Born in a log cabin and raised by wolves, I joined a troupe of travelling circus folk at a young age. As we roamed across the nation and parts of lower Canada, I spent much of my spare time solving crimes and protecting small villages from bands of roaming trolls--aided only by my wits and my personal spirit guide, a tuna sandwich named Franklin. Upon leaving the circus, I worked my way across the Pacific on a whaling ship, searching for the lost city of Kun'im'ola. After having slain the fabled dragon Shin'ume and consumed his still beating heart, I left for home, looking to continue my education and to seek out the mystic shaman Kimochee, protector of the spirit of the North Wind.
I currently reside in Los Angeles.
Who I'd like to meet: You know, I was reading other myspace profiles, and it seems most people want to meet people like Jesus or Gandhi. I find that frightening because if you could meet these people, guess what? That would mean you're dead. I think all these myspace users who are looking to meet dead people are actually crying out for help and should be placed on a suicide watch. We need to help these folks before they do something horrible to themselves.
But you know, it would be kinda neat to talk to Lincoln.
I'm looking for friends to add to my list, too. Unfortunately, thanks to all the spammers out there, if I don't recognize you, you won't be added unless you send me a message saying why you want to be my friend. Harsh, I know.
Also, because of problems with layout and saving changes, I've pretty much moved over to facebook.com. You're much more likely to find me there...
That's true that nobody realizes the song was written about me. Especially the fact that it was written when I was a high school freshman.
With today being the mother of all made up Hallmark holidays I ask, when are they going to make baseball's Opening day and the day after the Super Bowl a holiday?
