When the two original members of this group began playing together, it was to entertain the campus party crowd at LSU, in Baton Rouge. Since that start in 1999, Charlie Hager and Dustin Logan have added band members, written more songs, and along with Jeff Hager & Jason Spencer have released their second CD, My Saving Grace.
Their ORIGINALS successfully blend CLASSIC COUNTRY and SOUTHERN ROCK styles, with clever lyrics. Talented musicians and vocalists, as well as gifted songwriters, their shows are a high energy party where every one has a good time. The group has shared the stage with Robert Earl Keen, Billy Joe Shaver, Cory Morrow and Kinky Freidman.
Their debut album, THOSE SONGS, was well received by their fans and had positive reviews, with the “Kemah Bay” single receiving significant air time on several Texas radio stations.
Songwriter, vocalist, and lead guitarist, Charlie Hager, a native of Humble, Texas draws his musical influence from southern rock and blues, as well as the country greats such as Waylon and Willie. He has a passion for song writing, as well as a deep-rooted respect for the classics.
Jeff Hager, bass player, produced My Saving Grace. He and Jason Spencer, harmonica, mandolin and guitar, also from Humble Texas, joined the group in 2002, adding their songwriting skills, as well as musical talents.
The band has developed a loyal following, both in the South Texas area, as well as in South Louisiana. Fans AND bands of many genres appreciate their vintage style, as well as their original lyrics, music and good-timin' groove.
