The Carpet Frogs are probably the most seen and heard band in Canada that relatively few are aware of. For years the veteran musicians who make up the band, whose personal pedigrees have them listed as members of some of the best known bands in the country's history, have been working under this name, but are still best known as the band who back up Burton Cummings on his tours. In 2006, they hit every major market in the country backing up Burton and his musical partner Randy Bachman on their highly successful "FIRST TIME AROUND" tour, and are now doing the same thing in select American markets as The Bachman * Cummings band. The new album is full of one pop gem after another, and the first single, Lies, should firmly establish them as a radio airplay staple for the simple reason that it is just that damn good.

Wouldn't doubt these guys know it note for riff...but it'd be more interesting to see if they know "Whiskey Rock n Roller" if we're talking Skynyrd. Heard that the Frogs' repitoire is like about 731 songs at least.
good going in Michigan! Why is it that at any venue, bar, backyard picnic in the world, there is always somebody in the back yellin' FREEBIRD!!??"" lololololololo
No doubt in my mind that The Frogs IS a major reason for the resurgence of one B Cummings, and helping keep the high octane going on the Above The Ground project.
Very engaging stage presence besides the almighty tight? Hell yeh. Think Dave wants the mic to sing "These Eyes" some time maybe.
"Lies" is still a mega kick arse tune...probably better than the Kickerbockers could do even.
G/day fellas, From what I'm reading The Carpet Frogs are performing better than ever. Congratulations, the songs on your player are great the best always rise to the top. Be Safe Be Happy Ron

Hi guys, Please don't be offended by this but you really sounded like the Beatles on "Don't Tie Me Down".... (I have always LOVED the Beatles). Your harmonies on "Look at My Girl" also reminded me of them. BEAUTIFUL songs, keep them coming, Marilyn
