   About The CASANOVA PLAYBOYS

The Casanova Playboys are now being added to Top 40 radio stations!
The Single "Burlesque" has not only managed to gain momentum with their fans but also on the airwaves. They were first featured as band of the month at their local rock station, Sonic 102.9 FM and now have crossed over to Top 40 at such stations like 91.7 The Bounce in Edmonton and Chum FM in Toronto.

Stations across the country are also spinning "Burlesque", a tight and animated pop treasure that you would have sworn that Beethoven would have wrote if he were alive today. The guitar sizzles and the piano drives.
The vocal prowess of Jamie Star brings a sense of urgency that sensationalizes and over-all arouses the ear making you definitely want to hear more.

The Casanova Playboys is a band you don't want to miss! With songs like "Out Of Control" and "So Not Sorry", this band is headed for bigger things and will make their mark in the musical world. Low Noise, the playboys debut album was produced by Jonathan Fluevog in Vancouver and mastered at Sterling Sound by Ted Jensen in New York City.

Be sure to request "Burlesque" at your local station and stop by www.casanovaplayboys.com
to view the group's website.
We hope you enjoy the music.

"...There's not a bad track on this album. Why aren't these guys huge stars yet?"
Sandra Sperounes, The Edmonton Journal

"...Low Noise, a slick affair of radio-friendly pop-rock on a funk foundation
that- like the group- isn't afraid to show a little gloss."
Zoltan Varadi, ED Magazine

THE MUSICAL FORCE

Let us rewind to just over a year and a half ago when
The Casanova Playboys embarked on a naive and
ultimately disasterous trip to Vancouver from the flat
and desolate prairie lands of Edmonton, Alberta.

At that point, the band had high hopes; only to realize
that certain members were just not ready. Some
departed, leaving the trio of Jamie Star, Zack Action
and Will The Thrill to fend for themselves in East
Vancouver while surviving on Kraft dinner and canned tuna.

Suddenly, fate stepped in and united the three with
Josh Posh, an extremely talented guitar player.
"Low Noise" was born.

After 6 months and a few shows in Vancouver
(including an offer to play with NYC pop gods the
Scissor Sisters), the band was in financial ruin.
Recording costs proved too expensive to keep up
with, while supporting the band's musical passion
was but a dream. In reality, the band was broke
and starving.

A job offer was placed on the table to Zack Action
from a media outlet back in Edmonton. With nothing
but shame, the band admitted defeat and moved back,
leaving their guitar prodigy behind. Not all was lost
however! Longtime friend and Bass sensation, Mitch Magic
stepped in. With sudden determination to succeed in the
music industry, the band saved and saved only to
sporadically return to Vancouver over the next year and
deliver what would be the first real Casanova Playboys
experience.

"A year from hell" is what certain members could call it,
but who can complain when the force that is driving you,
is an undeniable appetite and thirst to do something
different - something timeless - something excellent.
Finally, after a few nocturnal months in the studio,
the record was finally accomplished. And that brings
us to now ladies and gentlemen...with many obstacles a
band faces in their midst, the Casanova Playboys
shall overcome! Produced by Jonathan Fluevog,
and mastered at Sterling Sound, NYC by Ted Jensen, look for
The Casanova Playboys brand new 14-song
"Low Noise" LP in stores soon!

This is the end...my only friend, the end.

It's true--this fabulous band of funksters have fed their final bee. Yes, the collective honeypot has run dry. But if you act quickly you'll have one last chance to savour the sweet, succulent sounds secreted by this smokin' sextet as they set the stage on fire. The following is a list of The Fabulous Bee Feeders final shows here in E-ville:

Tuesday June 19'th 9:30 @ New City Suburbs (10081 Jasper ave)*playing a funked up set as we open for Australia's #1 funk cartel-Pablo Discobar

Friday June 29'th 9:00 @ the Hilltop Pub (8220-106 ave)*opening for our old friends-Sally's Krackers

Saturday June 30'th 3:00 @ the Overdrive pub (6104 104 st)*Evolve cancer research benefit show/bikini car wash featuring a rockin blues set

Saturday June 30'th 9:00 @ the Hilltop pub (8220-106 ave)*our old friends Sally's Krackers will be opening up the show

Sunday July 1'st 7:30 @ Churchill Square (100st&104ave)*part of the works festival, the set will feature a special Canadian tribute and the last chance to see us play classics like the Waylon Nitelife and Point the Way live in Edmonton

There will bee one final show/CD release party sometime in early sept. where we will bust out some golden oldies which we haven't played live for nearly 2 years. During these final shows we will be selling T-shirts for 10 bux and cd's for 5 bux!!

It's the final countdown so b-b-b-bee there
