In the beginning of the year 2005, there was light. Some dusks and dawns later The Casbah was born.
As you’ve probably noticed - they’re a group. Specifically, they’re a group with musical talent. Even more Specifically, they’re from the west-coast of Finland.
Unessential details set aside, it was a result of apathy and confusion they decided to pick up instruments and head for the toppermost of the poppermost and join the lucrative business, as someone said of “Putting teenage growing pains into music”. Not literally, but close. They also agreed that out of all the noises in the world, music is the least disagreeable.
With rock ‘n’ roll, motown and beat music running in their veins, it’s no surprise they have a timeless mixture of sound and energy, like Cathy said: “It’s pure & raw”.
To conclude, there are two kinds of people in this world. Those who slow down at a yellow light and those who put the pedal to the metal. They’re the latter. Now, The Casbah beat is raised to ear-splitting level with new electronic synthesizers turned up to eleven. The boys will continue to experiment.
