    The band: The CASHual Tennessee Studs (CTS) play music by Johnny Cash. The band aims to give the audience a good ol' Cash-experience from his glory days. The crew is like Cash's original Tennessee Three band, and the roles of June Carter and Johnny Cash are naturally a part of it. The music: The Studs have collected a good selection of Cash's older and newer hits on their set-list. The audience will recognize the good old boom chicka boom-groove as known in many of Cash's prison classics, and the newer Cash-sound from his latest albums. They play songs that Cash covered, and that makes the repertoire varied and more enjoyable for the audience. Originality & CASHuality: The movie "Walk the Line" made a new Cash-wave, and it gave the band the idea to start a genuine Johnny Cash tribute band. The music and the show are suitable for all age groups. The band members dress similar, and speak the same language as the original: "We've never heard Johnny Cash speak Norwegian, and for that reason we don't do it either" (quotation by Mr. Not Johnny Cash). The band's concept is a mix of recreating the Johnny Cash atmosphere, and making their own version, something the band name also emphasizes: The CASHual… The show: CTS has performed for inmates behind several prison walls, as Cash himself did. Their shows have been played all over Norway. Some of the places they'll perform in 2012 are: Svalbard, Målselvfossen in Troms, Kabelvåg in Lofoten, Myre in Vesterålen, Inderøy in Nord-Trøndelag, Vik in Sogn, Bergen and Lista. They have many of other new gigs coming up. The Studs have received great reviews on their music, the show and the great atmosphere they create.     Hi Johnny Cash, Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. Polished rock candy comes ever to mind when thinking of you. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. Transistors bridge where your vanity would never go. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts.
