We've been playing for over 3 years....We used to be called Project DIM when we first started and then we fell apart and came back as The Casual Maniacs. We all learned our instruments together(The Alexs and Melissa) when we started Project DIM back in the summer of going into 10th grade. Kyle joined the band on bass at the end of 2007.
Everything we play is original, though we have done some Germs, Sex Pistols, Adicts, and Kinks covers in the past.
lol yeah right. lol i only had high heels, so i dont' think runnin in the woods woulda worked out too well...although i was really jealous...you guys looked so cold all soakin wet. lol w/e mosquitos do not pop jus like that
hopefully! i totalled my car though so i hardly ever make it out to deming any more. i heard there is a family reunion today, but i'm at work, so who knows if i will be able to make it.
Oh yea and im watching the videos since the recordings are a little hard to hear. Im watching the block party one still on the first song. Its really good, it reminds me a little bit of against me but more melodic. Its pretty damn good. -Nick V

That amazing! you guys sound like you're completely ROCKING!! I really do dig the new bass. Its kick ass. I will try and be there for your next show. I'll se how you guys are doing. i heard you guys have a few new songs. I'm hopping to hear those soon. I hope we can start booking you guys at venues.
