Gabriel Fry and whoever else is around. This has included Eli Resnick, Tom Hnatow, Kenneth Gilbert, Gavin Dunaway, Ben Reynolds, Matt Lame, Mike Setti, Steve Losey, Charlie Mason, Katie Lawson, Laura Miller, Dustin Conley, Kip Malinosky, Kate Rears, Dave Bjerke, Chuck Bowley, Curtis Fye, Robbie Sinclair, Chris Mason, Daphne Cashion, Brian Kent, Ryan Walker, and probably Mike Dove, too. And that one girl who knew all the words to that Ol' Dirty Bastard song. I think we can count her too.
Sounds Like
I also play guitar/keyboards/etc in Roma Condor and the Alphabetical Order and drums in Second String & the B-Team and the Lost Atoms. You know, for kicks.
The Casual Occupation is my vast and ill-defined solo project. Largely improvisational and orchestral in nature, it has a few regular contributors: Kenneth Gilbert has been known to play piano and upright bass, Eli Resnick weighs in on guitar, bass, and tenor saxophone, and Tom Hnatow can be found behind the banjo, violin, lap steel, and/or theremin. There have been five or six (largely accidental) live shows. Our most rehearsed (4 practices!) performance was recorded, and we consisted of two guitars, accordion, cello, banjo, piano, doublebass, drums, mandolin, tenor saxophone, scattered percussion, trumpet, synth, and several vocalists. We tend to spring up at parties, and we can be commissioned for soundtracks and opening slots if given plenty of notice or absolutely none at all.
Oy vey! Congratulations on the engagement. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't ask me first, but them's the breaks. I could have lived in your little house with you, all...you know, engaged and whatnot. I guess sometimes you've got to take the good with the bad. Anyway, I'm fine, grad school's fine, Molly's fine, the car needed a new radiator on the Jersey Turnpike, but now it's fine.
Glad to hear that you're alright!
Suritz PS. I've included at least five potential names for country songs in this message. Can you spot them?
we should try and hook up and get some freeze frame data. see why its misfiring. do the basics. start with some decent( denso or NGK) plugs. then try the coilpack..cooss i think your car is a coil pack ignition. and those can get cracked and when its moist they will misfire and sometiems if bad enough tye just groundout and misfire anyway.lol
if ou can honestly, get a 1.8T jetta wagon or passat wagonfrm years 02-05. had the kinks worked out, synthetic only of course, but great motor reliable( especially passat) and so on. but hey, i got yer back!! miss ya man.
I'll try! We just bought our condo today (I'm joining your home-owner club) and I think we might be moving, like, NOW. But if I can take a break you know I'm there!
let me know what the details are. i'll try to make it through for sure. i have a friend who is having a bday get together on friday night and on saturday i might have to do some shit with my brother-in-law but i'll see what i can do. i hope to see you soon and i hope you are doing well!
Wow! A house! I trust that you didn't have to sleep with the lights on for the first month! I would be happy to recommend some plants for you, but I would need to see the place first. Maybe I'll come visit on a fine summer weekend! Cheers!
just went to a man man show. even more meta-mantacular than two years previous ... leading a fella to believe he's the unwitting butt of some maniacal and incredibly well constructed onstage joke.
Pick a night to be "project" night and we will get at it. You need to grow your hair out and buy a cape, I think this should be all about Yanni meets Yes!
Looking at people? Breaking the fourth wall? What's this noise?! Dude, I cannot get the dreadful wind and rain song out of my head. I can't find it anywhere except Amazon, and I don't care for most of the other songs on the album. What to do? I'm on a mission.
I was sooooooooooo drunk. It looked like my record collection had exploded all over the place the next morning. And you didn't take the Television cd home. ;)
