Hi. My names Cj and this is my music. I'm from the north of England, its cold up here but really nice. I've been playing these songs since early 2007, and played in loads of places like Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Madrid etc and at lots of festivals. Come to one of my gigs and we'll chat and have a drink, i'm pretty shy but don't let that stop you. I live in Newcastle, and we've got a great radical community here, so call by sometime if your travelling through. If you'd like to buy a cd theres a list of places below where you can get them. All of my material is anti-fascist, anti-capitalist, anti-cop, pro-feminist, gay positive. Homophobes and macho punks suck.
xx
If you wanna book me for a gig then just send a message, i'll play your squat, your party, your pub, your front room, whatever you like.
I thought i'd add something in here; i've recently noticed that a number of 'punk' bands have been expressing support for the BNP. I'm not going to name names here, if you want to know message me, but what I do want to say to all these bands and musicians is that I consider you, in the bluntest way possible, to be total scum. Supporting the BNP is a complete insult to the scene and community that you claim to belong to. The BNP are inherently fascist, sexist and homophobic and you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves to associate with such a group. If you can support such fascist ideologies and still consider yourself to be punk, then punk is well and truly dead. Go buy some Skrewdriver records you pathetic fucks.
I will never play gigs with any band or musician, or at any venue, that supports any fascist group; whether that be the BNP, NF or whatever. Punk is about unity: unity of all races, all genders, all sexualities. I can't believe i've had to write this mesage, I can't believe that a scene I grew up in and had so much respect for has been poisoned by a minority of very ignorant people. Much love and respect to all the anti-fascist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic musicians and artists out there that continue the fight against such evil. And much respect to those who risk arrest and persecution by fighting such fascist ideas off our streets. Antifascist for life. x x x
