The Alcove with Mark Molaro: Lino Rulli interview "The Catholic Guy"
Mark Molaro interviews Lino Rulli, the host of the national Sirius Satellite Radio program "The Catholic Guy" and former host of the Emmy Award-winning Minneapolis TV program Generation Cross. In this New York City interview Lino discusses how he uses humor in his creative work and talks about the strengths and challenges of his own Catholic faith.
Television
The greatest tv show, of course, was Generation Cross. I happened to host it, however, so I may be biased.
Other than that? Letterman, Conan, and Jon Stewart seem to do a pretty good job.
Oh, and The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Entourage don't make me sad.
Heroes
David Letterman, John Paul II, Howard Stern (though perhaps not in that order)
About me: I'm the host of "The Catholic Guy" on Sirius Satellite Radio 159 and XM Satellite Radio 117.
At my age, having a myspace account seems questionable at best. Creepy at worst.
But since the profile exists, I hope to have more friends online than I do in real life. Which shouldn't be too tough to accomplish...
Hey Lino, thanx for your friendship... I really dig your show, I'm a trucker so I have XM on most all day long. U really wouldn't Twitter during Vespers...would ya? What's a booya?? Must be a MN thang:-)
Lino, I was away on vacation when you went away ... what a sad thing to only hear "the best of" when I got back .... glad you are back! Enjoyed your story about "fr. mel" tonight! I had a similar situation a few months ago -- what a bummer when they don't want to spend time! Keep up the good work. Fr. Cliff Bishop
So lino!! I got a 6-month FREE subscription to Sirius with the purchase of my new car..... It's the catholic guy at 3oclock again!!!! Yay!!!! I missed the show. Last time I listened it was down to just you and some other on the show. Glad to be listening again.
