  • Bio

Formed in 2002, The Cat Pack are a honkin' and-a stompin' jump jive, rhythm'n'blues, big band rockabilly orchestra based in the UK. A dazzling, high-octane journey through all the great rockin' and swingin' big band sounds from the old to the new including blistering new cuts and jaw-dropping performances - a big bunch of cats and kittens jumpin' at The Cat Pack ball. They have 2 CD's available on Raucous Records - 'It Aint What You Do' (2005) & 'Everybody Wants To Be A Cat' (2003) and have performed as supports for Chuck Berry and Little Richard, amongst many theatre shows and leading UK jive/swing events including the 'Swing Cats Ball', 'Colne Rhythm'n'Blues Festival', 'Burnley Blues Festival' and 'Vegas', Edinburgh. Also numerous high-profile corporate events (posh stuff) including for 'Pfizer', 'Sainsburys', 'The Royal Armouries' and 'The National Railway Museum'. Band member credits include the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, BBC Big Band, NYJO, Jools Holland Rhythm'n'Blues Orchestra, Peter Grant, Joe Longthorne, Corrine Bailey Rae, Diane Schure, The Four Tops, The Supremes, Roy Wood, Mica Paris, McCoy Tyner and many West End and UK touring theatre productions. For more information check out the band website at www.thecatpack.co.uk.
