I got this layout from topbun The Cave is Chapel Hill's oldest tavern. Over the years, its hallowed halls have played host to a variety of live music, including R.E.M., Lyle Lovett, the Squirrel Nut Zippers, and a plethora of other music greats.
The Cave is open from 2:30 PM - 2:30 AM every day. Please come on down to see some great music, grab some beer or liquor, shoot some pool, or just hang out and enjoy its unique atmosphere. UPDATE: WE NOW HAVE PINBALL AGAIN!!!!
The Cave regularly features live music. Our early shows start between 7 and 9:30; our late shows tend to start around 10.
The Cave also welcomes well-behaved dogs.
