Sparrows has been around for 2 years now, and it initially started with Jon Tornblom as a solo artist called Cedars of Lebanon, but after the release of his debut album and a tour to the west coast and back with AVS and Jean-Paul de Roover in the summer of 2007, Jon married Kathleen and she has taken up vocals as the second half of an electronic duo now called Sparrows. Although the genre falls under electronic music (a genre notorious for "pressing play on the synthesizer"), you will hear plenty of live vocals, guitar and keyboards.

On a somewhat related note, I've been doing a lot of reading on death and the afterlife in one of my course (technologies of the afterlife). There's definitely some books and readings that I think you might find interesting.
How is my fellow Akai user? Ummm...I looked at some comments from you the other day. You asked if I had considered putting on some vocals. Well I've enlisted some help and a tune of mine has vocals. Hey J.T. just dropping in to say hf on this road trip out west and back and I'll be praying for you as I already have been. I had an awesome time talking with you at camp and stuff. I was really blessed by it. I was pretty down before that actually... Anyway, I'm sure God will use you on this trip. Keep you head up brother! Btw, I guess you'll be playing in Maple Ridge BC? I'm from Mission, just a bit east of Maple Ridge. Have a drive through Mission for me. I've only VERY briefly driven through once since I moved from BC 7 and a half years ago. It's really weird. It's like my life in BC was a completely different life then the one I now have... well it is in a way, that's a different story though, I'll tell you about it sometime if I remember.
