After performing all over the east coast with the likes of OKGO, Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes, The Pink Spiders, and even the legendary Beach Boys with their previous bands LUZER and Dr. Thunder, Timmy Sean (vocals/guitar/keys), Chris Volk (lead guitar/keys), Dan Seeth (drums) and Krishna “The Mania” Vasudevan (vocals/bass) officially formed The Celebrities ringing in the New Year on January 1, 2007. Since that time The Celebrities have written more than two dozen tunes (including the four song “Free Four All Demo” sampler EP featured above), recorded two tracks for upcoming high-profile tribute albums to power-pop legends Jellyfish and teen idol Rick Nelson, and built a palpable buzz all over the North East from high-energy live performances at premier concert venues such as Baltimore's Recher Theatre, NYC's Mercury Lounge and Lion's Den, Philly's Grape Street, and New Jersey's Maxwell's and Starland Ballroom (with 80's rock legends Quiet Riot).
The Celebrities are currently recording a "box-set worth of" new material to be unveiled in the coming months. Stay tuned!
