Hello. I've just read elsewhere that Howard Jones is playing The Cellars in June, but can't find tickets listed anywhere...can you clarify if this is the case and where I can get hold hold of tickets ? Cheers.
Pathway are currently writing originals and are hoping to be gigging in the new year with a mixtures set of covers and originals, so if you fancy having us down to play then give us a shout, as we would be delighted to play The Cellars!!
HI STEVE AND ALL THE STAFF ,WISHING YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.AND A FANTASTIC NEW YEAR.THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LOVELY TIMES AT THE CELLARS,LONG MAY THEY CONTINUE ......THANK YOU STEVE ...LOVE ....SALLY .xxxxxx.
Hey Steve and all the Staff!! Thank you for the wonderful way we were treated at your fantastic venue! It was and is a joy to play and your enthusiasm and sheer professionalism always makes a show at the Cellars a joy!
Happy Christmas to you all at the Cellars from the OBN.
Wilfy Williams announces his first solo gig supporting the world famous Alabama3 at Dirty South in London on Saturday 22nd December 2007. Alabama3 are the best live band in the country(The Guardian) who wrote Woke Up This Morning, theme tune to the hit show The Sopranos.
With Wilfy supporting its sure to be a night to remember. The Pompey Busker is a man on a mission to put English music back where it belongs at the pinnacle of the music world. He’s been attracting support from some of the most influential and talented people in the business. With his genius lyrics and epic guitar solos, the demos on myspace offer a solid, if minimal glimpse of the entertainer and performer that is Wilfy Williams.
You may remember Wilfy Williams from such previous songwriting favourites as:
STAR IN THE CROWD(Daily) THE WHO(Daily) ADAMANT(The Fret) A DIFFERENT SOUND(The Fret) &More Recently A NEW BEGINNING(Wilfy Williams).
His new tune HEAVEN THROUGH YOUR EYES was recorded with his friend and mentor Phil Owen(old school Pompey Busker) who has passed his ‘hat’ and his wisdom on to Wilfy. The song is available to download for free only on myspace.
Really good to play The Cellars last night. As always a great crowd in a great venue. Nick Harper was inspirational!!! What a legend!!! Look forward to playing there again.
Many thanks for your kind comments, and don't think i don't take the threat of murder seriously. Come to think of it, you're the second person to wish me a grizzly death if I don't make a success of the band, so it looks like we'll have to stick at it... :o)
MR STEVE,what can i say ,on behalf of everyone i know who comes to the CELLARS,to the gigs you put on ,A VERY WHOPPING GREAT BIG THANK YOU ,what a STAR you are ....love ..sally .xxxx
Thanks for the info about Wednesday. I wont be able to make it this time, but thanks for thinking of me. I'm off to look at your gig list right now... Ange x
