In an industry geared for quick turnover and profit, its refreshing to see a band that doesn't follow the rules.CNS (the Central Nervous System)members Ken Griffin and Ruben Huizenga play rock like they've crashed a party of dance floor aliens..
Electrostatic sounds accent huge riffs and bass that make even drummer Griffin's chin spike vibrate. Ruben's vocals are reminiscent of Robert Plant and David Bowie's mixed with Beastie Boys for good measure.
One doesn't expect such a huge sound from a two piece, but CNS take it in stride. long strides, windmill guitar moments, and pounding rhythms...
Those who don't lose their minds will barely hang on..
