The venue, a former vaudeville theater that opened in 1908, has hosted acts including Bon Jovi, Ozzy Osbourne, Guns N'Roses, Third-eye Blind, Kansas, Fuel, Trapt, Iggy Pop, Goo Goo Dolls, Rusted Root, Concrete Blonde, Alice in Chains, B 52s, Bob Dylan, the Police, Gavin DeGraw, David Bowie, Ted Nugent, Fall Out Boy, Twisted Sister, BB King, and Pat Benatar..to name a few. The Loft and The Chance also host aspiring local bands. After just celebrating it's 100th birthday The Chance Theater continues to be the premiere live music venue of the Hudson Valley.
