“THE CHANGE came together in the spring of 2008 after its members began playing music together at a local coffee-shop open-mic in the town of Stouffville, Ontario. They started writing and recording songs almost immediately, blowing people away at local gigs with their high-energy shows filled with twangy guitar licks and dirty-blues riffs in the best tradition of classic rock, yet updated for the 21st century. Shades of Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Hendrix, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and early R.E.M. permeate their music, but THE CHANGE truly sound like no other band under the sun! As they moved on to bigger gigs in and around the Toronto area they began to garner more recognition: opening multiple shows for fast-rising Toronto rockers Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (USS), having their CD release for their debut CD “Roll Yr’ Tongue” at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern, and being featured on 94.9 The Rock's 'New Rock at 9' with Matt Diamond.”

That was a great set at The Silver Dollar. Raw edged rock, searing guitar-playing, and vocals that crackle with gritty conviction, taking cues from blues-swagger and classic rock. Shake, rattle and roll, with potency. Keep to your musical vision.
