Hailing from Hollywood, CA, The Changing blend heavy guitars, strong melodies and smart lyrics to create some of the most exciting metal music to be heard in years. Founded and fronted by Kalen Chase, the group has been recording and playing live in the Los Angeles area since 2006. Along with a multitude of club shows, the band was tapped to perform on the 2007 Family Values tour, appearing on the main stage alongside Korn, Evanesence and others.
The Changing is preparing to release their debut album entitled “For Obvious Reasons”. The first single “Jerry Bruckheimer” with guest vocals from Jonathan Davis of Korn is available now at www.thechanging.com. Recorded and mixed by Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly), the twelve-song album showcases the versatility and aggression of these five gifted vagabonds.

Hey The Changing. I was lucky enough to meet Kalen and Brandon and take a pic with you guys last night at the SLIPKNOT concert!! After I had taken the pic with Kalen i was shaking for like a hour lol. I auto-matically saw you guys walk up when i was about to enter the building. and i was so star struck. anyways thats so awesome i got to meet you guys i still cant get over it. thanks!
