We are a 501c3 non-profit, multi-disciplinary arts center dedicated to providing exceptional opportunities for community participation in music, film, visual arts, and performing arts. To translate: We're not about the money. We're about providing a high-energy, family-friendly venue for the community's artists and audiences.
The Channel was founded in 1997 as Carpenter’s Cellar Ministries in the heart of downtown Greenville. In 2007 a transition took place from a 1,100 square-foot underground coffee house to a 4,000 square-foot creative arts center that can regularly accommodate 250 people.
Gifted musicians, artists, and poets are attracted to The Channel, drawing on an audience of various ages from across the Upstate.

this is kinda late haha but Nov 6th we like to thanks u for letting us play with some great bands. When i saw the people dancing it made me so happy and also made me more pumped. b/c when i see ppl so that it tells me wer doing a good job.We are looking forward to playing more shows asap. so can't w8 J.

so im pritty sure you dont book bands via myspace but im gana try anyway, hey were the LoZ (LIONZ OF ZION) from greenville, SC we play original Rock/Funk/Party music and we wana play at the channel. We have a good following here, we've been the only local band selected to play Rock Stock '09 at heritage park, weve headlined the Hanldebar haveing 200 turn out, been on 93.3 and Fox 21.
