The Chariots is a lively musical duo consisting of Meg Cavanaugh and Jessica Caudill, two professional female musicians who came together because of their love and passion for celtic and roots music.
Meg Cavanaugh is a New York based Singer Songwriter who has preformed as a folk musician, musical theatre preformer, and slam poet for ten years. She recently toured the UK and Ireland for eight months and became heavily influenced by the folk music of that region. As she began to attend more and more Folk Clubs and Open Mics, she decided she had to form a band in New York which fused her style of folk with the traditional Celtic and English Folk music she was so crazy about. She found Jessica Caudill (student of the french horn, fiddle, and life) while still across the pond, and together they began the Chariots.
This is a High Energy, riveting female collaboration that will knock your socks off. Equipped with a bottle of whiskey and loads o' good times.
