The Charnel House runs on the first and third Saturday of each month. The evening begins at 6:30 and continues until 11:00. Price is £3.50 on the door, £2.00 for members
The Charnel House holds its regular event in the function room of Butlers, in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK).
The Charnel House is a friendly Goth night held in Newcastle city centre and is the core of “Charnel House promotions” which also promotes live music and DJed events around the UK.
We've been going since 1999 making us the longest running Goth night in Newcastle!
It is our aim to provide a friendly and enjoyable night in a safe and welcoming atmosphere, come along and if you don’t know any one ask the staff to introduce you.
Charnel House is an EBM light night, we do play some, but it depends on the crowd we have in on the night and it will not take up a large part of the airtime. We are always happy to take requests and our DJs are friendly and approachable (In Ghost’s case he is incredibly approachable if you come at him with a double Irish cream!).
We have no dress policy but we do expect all staff and customers to behave courteously. Most of all we are about having fun.
