The Chase have been together since the 6th of september 2007.They began recording there demo from January 08.
Mainly listening to the pop culture of the 90's, this gave them their heaviest influences.
Many others can say the same, but The Chase decided to follow in the footsteps of their icons and
create the music they love.
Robbie picked up a guitar at the mature age of 13. He has been enthralled by it ever since, this gave him an early start at songwriting.
This became the basis of the band along with his history in recording and studio work. Andy met Robbie in college studying art, they clicked instantly due to their mutual love of music. Later along the line Andy was working in billingham and met Jenni, the drummer from a band called Dirty Chaos.
The two got talking and Andy later joined the band, playing venues
such as Ku Bar, Jax and the local Theatre.
This gave the two experience in playing big venues with a big crowd.
Later came The Blue Weeds, Whitehouse and other projects for the two, This brought the return of Robbie to Whitehouse, the band were solid with a great bass player, Jonno Dark. They played The Studio, The Centurian in Newcastle with NE1 FM, The Dickens Inn and The Oak among many others.
The band moved on, creating a new and much more up to date sound and this was the beginning of The Chase.
