The racing world lost a very important and outstanding person on April 8, 2008. Brienne Davis was taken from us in a tragic car crash in North Carolina near her home of Mooresville.
She was a good friend to me and several of us here at the Checkered Flag. Her smile, her laugh, and of course her love of Elvis and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
She accomplished more in her short life, especially in a career that mostly excludes women, than most do in a lifetime.
