OUT NOW!!!! As featured on BBC Radio Scotland's Book Cafe.
Two years ago, The Chemical Poets were sent to prison by a court of newspaper editors for crimes against legible handwriting which they did not commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Edinburgh underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as performance poets with a penchant for fucked-up noises and controversial opinions.
They meld hip-hop, philosophy, protest and dark magic. They sometimes perform with the Beltane fire dancers. To date they have played at Edinburgh's Jazz Bar at the celebrated Big Word cabaret; participated in urban roots poetry event Seeds of Thought at Glasgow's CCA; developed a post-apocalyptic dystopian floorshow for the Acoustic Cafe at Out of The Blue; helped Alan Grant open the Local Heroes: The Art of the Graphic Novel exhibition at the National Library of Scotland; performed at The Magic Igloo, a multimedia installation at The Bongo Club, and at the 2008 Wickerman Festival. In 2009 they rocked the Edinburgh Fringe at Underword. Expect more action in late 2009, including an action-packed Halloween gig at Neverzone.
Chemical Poets are: Tickle (Burning Bright), Harlequinade (Sileni) and Texture (Morphamish vs. Texture), with music by Owen Green (Sileni), Asthmatic Astronaut (Underling), and mo-seph (Kresch).
Chemical Poets add more musicians, dancers and poets as and when we feel like it. Chemical Poets are available for weddings, bar mitzvahs, children's parties and funerals.

He's also one third of Amolvacy (along with Dave Nuss of No Neck Blues Band), and the Paris-based Textile Orchestra.
Usurper (Ali Robertson - Giant Tank, Malcy Duff - Missing Twin), Edinburgh local stand-up bending forward minimal graphical noise art duo, will be joint together with Daniel Rutter.
