Interests

  • General

I love movies, music, anime, Disney animation, Disneyland, Sci-fi, Horror, video games (I have a PS2 and I'd love a PS3 and a Wii), role-playing games (Vampire the Masquerade, Ancients, D&D, etc...), books, puzzles, and most of all spending time with fun and interesting people.
  • Music

Oingo Boingo, Pink Floyd, Queen, NIN, The Beatles, Danny Elfman, Brendan McCreary, Jimi Hendricks, The Cure, Richard Cheese, Weird Al, Dr. Demento, David Bowie, misc. KROQ, and lots of other bands that I enjoy but don't quite make the list.
  • Movies

My favorite Directors are: Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, Kevin Smith, Robert Rodriguez, Hayao Miyazaki, Steven Spielberg, and Sam Raimi.

Some of my favorite movies are: Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Clerks 2, From Dusk til Dawn, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirted Away, E.T., Jaws, Evil Dead 2, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Star Wars (the original trilogy is better), Star Trek (2, 4, and 6 are best), The Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended versions are better), Disney animation (mostly when Walt was alive and after The Little Mermaid), Moulin Rouge, Dawn of the Dead, Saw, Saw 2, Silence of the Lambs, Pans Labrynith, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, and lots of others.

As for genres, I love smart movies and great special effects. I wanted to be a special effects person when I was young. I enjoy action and horror movies but I don't like violence and gore just for it's own sake. I can watch the bloodiest of movies as long as it fits with the feel of the story. I prefer comedy over drama but it depends on my mood.
  • Television

Heroes, House, Boston Legal, Jericho, Lost, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, ER, Desperate Housewives, Simpsons, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Extras, The Riches, Mythbusters, Star Trek (original and TNG), and various others as the whim strikes.
  • Books

Incarnations of Immortality series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Harry Potter series, The Twilight series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Most of what Clive Barker has written, Good Omens, Calvin and Hobbes, Baby Blues, and lots of others.
  • Heroes

People who follow their dreams and succeed at it without stepping on everyone. People who can keep a positive self image despite the media constantly telling us that we aren't *fill in the blank* enough.

Blurbs

About me:

I am a mother of 4, ages 10 and under (Yes, same daddy while I was married).

I am a fairly tall BBW with a bit of an hour glass figure (I have a 38DDD chest and big hips but a visible waist, I wear a size 14/16). I tend toward the goth side and love to dress up in corsets, black velvet, fish nets, thigh highs, and lace. I prefer to wear black and dark colors. I also love low cut tops to show off my triple Ds. ;)

Can you say "perky goth"? I knew you could.... If you don't think I'm "goth" enough, then just don't say hi to me at Bat's Day. No skin off my Ummm nose. >;-P I don't mix up goth with emo like some people.... Oh yeah, and I'm a geek too. Deal with it or bother someone else.

Don't you just love the new players?!? I got White and Nerdy back plus Euphonic Ricochet, Boingo, Brendan's Band, Boingo, Danny Elfman, Toadies, and Boingo!!! While you are at it, check out Euphonic Richochet!! These songs are written and performed by someone I think the world of (and who should think more of himself) and others. If you dig it, spin it often and message them about how they need more music up and *need* to perform... Enjoy!

If you *really* want to get to know me... read my blog.

Check out my very talented friends!!!!

First, my friend Tobias. He is a great guy and a talented song writer/ musician. He has a band called Soulbox. I highly recommend "2 Much Me 4 Me". It's my favorite.

Next, Jimmy Hankins. He is a very fun and funny guy. I met him years ago at a Oingo Boingo concert and we keep running into each other. :) He is now working as a comic and is well worth looking up.

Jimmy has also turned me on to one of his comic buddies.... Anthony Dominguez. I've been to two shows now and he is great!

Jimmy and Anthony have also teamed up with Donald Barker III to do Ambush Comedy They are too funny. I laughed my eye liner off!!! If you're anywhere in driving distance to Huntington Beach when they are performing, COME TO THE SHOW!!!

Then, Johnny Vatos. Johnny is the best drummer I've ever seen and he and John Avila were very nice to a dorky teenager (me) years ago back in the Food for Feet days. They have gotten Steve Bartek and Sam Phipps together to have an Oingo Boingo reunion (nearly because Danny Elfman doesn't show) every October for the last few years.

Last but not least.... Brendan . He is the awesome lead singer for Johnny's Boingo "tribute". I will admit to being one of his doubters.... but I am a proud convert now! See this guy people!!! He is awesome fronting for Boingo or his own music. He's got a great voice and one hell of a stage presence. :)

Who I'd like to meet:

I could go all Stewie Griffin on you and say
"Minions who will pay me tons of attention... Bow to me!"
but that's just silly...

I'd like to meet fun, funny, intelligent, open-minded people. I have spent a long time isolated as a stay-at-home mom and would dearly love to make new friends.

Now that I am divorced, I am "looking" again, so I'd also dearly love to meet someone to fill my need for love, attention, and romance. I'm looking for a companion who can be understanding of my situation. Good guys don't always finish last with me.
