"The Chevrolites are the very definition of a Friday Night Band - one of those who are incredibly fun to listen to, that get you geared up and out of the house, that you blast in the car with your mates on the way to the club, that you queue up outside the door a good thirty minutes early for despite the chilly weather, that you make an ass of yourself dancing along with, and that, the morning after, you swear to everyone who missed the show that it might well be the best gig you've ever seen. And that's before the first song ends" RockSellout.com
"Their relaxed look and cheeky chappy swagger suggested that these are a bunch of lads who know they're good. This evident charisma thrown in with well mapped out lyrics of the boys' lives up North, creates an instantaneous connection with any crowd"
Sham!
"Songs full of razor-sharp observational lyrics about the lads' small town life and experiences, hard hitting choruses, seriously impressive guitar riffs and grooves and beats full of swagger"
The Crack Magazine
"Spotted by our very our talent scout, these half-smoggie/half-geordie rock n rollers play melodic jangly indie that would make Pete and Carl proud"
TenFeetTall
"Local guitar band THE CHEVROLITES have far more edge live than on their myspace. They can Never Leave This Town even though they’ve had enough, which is good because we can watch them burn off their influences and shine all summer"
Gazette Live
"Before these lads know it, they'll have girls climbing the stages all over the country. They had a spark of something raw, perfectly matched with any of the groups scrambling up the charts as we speak"
The Crack Magazine
"It's probably the bands naïveté that will see them blossom into a very successful act – you really did feel like you were watching the birth of the next, and pardon the cliché, Maximo Park. Let's just put it this way, I'm going to be holding onto their free EP to sell on eBay in a few years"
Narc Magazine
The Chevrolites came to fruition in January 2008 and have been telling their tales of small town survival ever since. Many sweaty, hard-hitting, memorable gigs down the line they have already earned their right to share stages with the likes of The Datsuns, The Paddingtons, Look See Proof, The Metros, The Pigeon Detectives and Red Light Company.
