I can't remember the trumpet player's name, but when he played the trumpet on Live The Lie in the studio it made me cry. So thanks to him for that.
Lots of other people contributed in some way to the album like Cormac Curran, Ciara O'Connor, Pauline, Niamh, Peter and Lorcan McElwain, Shane O'Grady, Ciara Cunnane, Ben Kritikos, Ian and Vicky, The Walpole, Jan and Siobahn, and all of my friends basically.

The Chocolate Teapot was an album recorded in 2005 and 2006, but never released due to a crushing and destructive gift for procastination by the main culprit behind the tunes, Aoife Mc.
The recording of this album was the most fun young Aoife ever had, so after nearly two years of nail-biting, here are four tracks available for download for your pleasure or displeasure, depending on your point of view.
Big thanks to those who helped make this album - above all, thanks to Gavin Glass who did such a great job on the production and generally taught me a lot.

oioioi! you chocolate geepot! took my CRAYOLA THERMOS to work today, drank tea and looked down at everyone. having such a deadly accessory has given me a superiority complex. its a real hazard in the workplace.

Maybe you want to mention that you're performing a wee set on 16 May in Bewley's so these lovely people leaving comments have the opportunity to see this wonderful music performed live?
Aoife! Thank you so much for this most beautiful elephant! its better then what I had in mind!.) if I had the technical knowledge I would have sent you a magical photo too but well.. will leave it to the imagination..:)x
Ah the ole chocolate teapot of life. I hope it's holding shape. Are you doing much gigs? You still with the radio? It's been a very long time since I've seen you around. It's sort of weird.
You dark horse... I remember reading about the Chocolate Teapot on Indie Hour but hadn't realised I could listen...Aoife these songs are excellent! I'm grabbing them all. I hope you're treating them as spring bulbs in the airing cupboard to be brought out soon for summer. They're too nice to stay locked away!
