Hoop, Lead Vocals and guitar
Dave Thompson, or better known as Hoop, has been around the Twin Cities music arena for over 25 years, working in professional bands since 1976. After playing bass and guitar in number of garage bands, he ultimately focused on Lead vocal/Frontman. A founding member of the 1980's metal group Counter Attack, Hoop has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of talented musicians since.

Rob, Lead Guitar & vocals
Rob Goff has had a long and fruitful career, having played and recorded with many of the great performing artists of our time. This list includes members of Steppenwolf, Asleep At The Wheel, Delany and Bonnie, and Crow, to name just a few. He has also performed in several successful bands with musicians from the Twin Cities area. In addition, Rob is a studio-level musician and has spent countless hours in recording sessions laying down guitar tracks for local and national ad campaigns.

RJ, Bass Guitar and vocals
Rob "RJ" Awe is a bass guitarist whose rock and roll roots began in the 1980s in South Minneapolis. Prior to joining The Choppers, Rob was a founding member of KICKSTART a 80's cover band favorite amongst numerous Twin Cities fans. Many got to know him from 93x's 2004 Project, "Making A Rock Band". Where he and local artists were called upon to cover and record "Far Behind" by Candlebox. Some of Rob's fondest music memories are opening for national acts that include Firehouse and Warrant.

Billy, Drums
Billy brings unbridled enthusiasm and a rock solid meter to the band. A member of Chain Lightning for 15 years, Billy does something that hasn't been done since the 80's: a drum solo that people actually like to watch. You never know quite what Billy is going to pull out of the hat, so you'll have to see for yourself one of the premier drummers in the Twin Cities area.
