About me:
We'd die without food or music. Which is why each month, we hold 40 unsuspecting New Yorkers at sauce-point at APT club, stuffing them with a three-course gourmet dinner and untold hours of tunes courtesy of one hot-shot guest chef and DJ. Then we serve the results at TheChowdown.com for your listening pleasure. Expect quality music of all types, witty commentary, and special menus you won't taste anywhere else. In April, we rang in our very-first Chowdown in New York, and we had a blast! The evening featured some dubbed-out Italo-disco by Brennan Green of Chinatown Records, paired fittingly with an old-school Italian menu from chef Joey Campanaro of the much-awarded Little Owl restaurant in the West Village. Over tomato bread salad and chicken marsala, we raised our glasses to our host and resident DJ Joe for gracing us with some karaoke singing as he threw Bel Biv Devoe's "Poison" into the mix.
