Here is a little about us: The Chris McGuire Band is a blend of all different sounds and styles. Each member of the group comes from a dramatically different musical background, which provides a vast array of musical insight and contribution. Each member of the group is classically trained from some of the best jazz schools in the country such as The University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Arlington. What makes us compatible is our love for quality, live music, regardless of the situation. Weddings, private parties, jazz clubs, outdoor festivals, rock concerts, bars, and corporate functions; The Chris McGuire Band has done it all. We are capable of almost any style, in nearly any venue. All of this coupled with a highly trained sound engineer and professional attitude is what makes us stand above the rest. Listen to what clients are saying about the Chris McGuire Band: They were very talented and professional. I was uncertain at first about booking a band on the website for such an important event (wife’s 40th birthday) after all I had only one shot to do this right, but my worries were alleved after having email contact directly with the band. It was well worth the 5% referral fee considering the trouble I would have had to go through in hunting down a local band myself.
