The Chromatics are a unique high-energy vocal band that delights audiences with a combination of outrageous originals, crazy covers, melodic insights into modern life, and a smattering of science songs.
The Internet, television, and fast food - they're all subjects of Chromatics originals. The Chromies have taken their astronomically-correct a cappella songs, a project called AstroCappella, from Palm Springs, to Orlando, from Las Vegas to New York, and their CD has flown in space! And no, we're not kidding! The Chromatics have presented their "down-to-earth" repertoire at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, at various First Nights, the Atlantic Region Harmony Sweepstakes, festivals, concert series, and private parties.
The Real Community is a place where you can meet your colleagues and friends from vocal groups and choirs from all around the world, promote your music, and listen to music made by other groups.
The Real Community is made for people coming from different parts of the vocal music world - singers, vocal ensembles, choirs, festival managers, booking representatives, conductors, composers, a cappella fans - everybody who has a connection to a cappella music.
we are very happy to tell you about the first a cappella festival taking place in Sweden! Sept 10-14 2008 in Västerås Concert House - 4 days with concerts, master-classes, workshops, seminars... and meeting with singers from all over the world.
Click at the image below to check out the festival web site. There you can read more about the festival activities, fill in the application form, or just dig the videos with the festival artists; so far: ourselves, Rajaton (Finland), Vocal Line (Denmark).
Thanks for requesting to be friends. Your music sounds great! I especially like 'Day After Christmas'. Very funny:) Please check out my A Cappella music on my myspace page when you get a chance.
Heys Guys, Hope all are well. BTW, I got the same message as the comment before mine and they are right, you just need to change your password to stop it.
hey guys! i think someone is spamming other people from your account. apparently someone thinks i'm really cute (according to the message). all you have to do is change your password and don't save it to the computer! keep up the chromatalicious work!
Before I found a link to your Noctilucent Cloud on ChoralNet, I had never heard of you guys. What a wonderful surprise! You have an awesome and tight sound, and you are making such a noble endeavor to boot! I hope you continue to find success and inspiration bridging science and choral music. BRAVISSIMO!
Thanks so much for adding me! I hope I can
further your understanding of our universe,
and give you realistic hope for "faster than
light" travel without violating relativity!
