My favorite band is tiny and unknown, too - they're my first friend on my page - and so they run their own page and respond to messages. After a year of talking to them, I got to go to NYC and meet 3 of 4 of them. That was SO great. The band broke up in 1998, so I've been trying to go to NYC for concerts for their new bands. I've got to see the guitarist play live, and in December I almost got to see Whitey (the singer) sing for his new band, Umbrella Brigade. My aunt was dying, though, so I stayed behind, and Whitey tells me it'll be awhile before they have their next concert. I hope it'll be this summer.
The Mormon or LDS church is very popular in North and South America, and a little bit in Japan (I think), but I don't think they've made a lot of headway in Europe. What part of Ireland are you from (if you don't mind me asking)? I went to France and Italy in 1999 but haven't been back to Europe since. Having 3 kids kind of prevents a lot of travel...
I used to be more active than I am, but now I'm pretty much here to keep in contact with a few friends I made that aren't on facebook, and to keep in touch with my favorite band and their new bands. It's really fun talking with those guys and I wouldn't give that up for anything!

I don't have a Facebook. I probably should get one. When I do I'll let you know!
