Hmmmm ... what to jibber jabber about? First off my name is Richie .. I'm obviously a drummer!! With the bands I play in now I mainly pull out my Progressive Rock / Jazz Fusion chops .. I've played with a number of groups throughout the years from the Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville and Northwest Florida areas. I'm currently in the writing process with 3 bands that include most of my favorite musicians!! Now me .. as far as an individual .. The Usual Textbook Artist - Somewhat out there as they say .. Besides writing, studying and listening to music 24/7 I'm into traveling, air drumming, getting lost, displaying unique and unorthadox qualities of authenticity, watching people, multi-tasking and being extremely productive, being completely lazy, hanging out with people that don't speak English, S L E E P I N G, outer body experiences, forgetting everything, drinking cranberry juice and chewing Orbit, text messaging, drinking Coors Light from a frostyass mug and then breaking it down over and over like you didn't get it the first time half way through, learning more about who I really am, devouring PoppySeed Goodness with my dear friend Steph at Precious Diddle's (IT'S BEEN TOO LONG), deciphering the codes of synchronicity from the universe, eating LifeSaver Suckers, chowing down on Organic Peanut Butter and Asian Pears, watching the same movies over and over (same applies to albums), assuming the emotional point of view of others, starting sporadic conversation with random strangers EXCEPT IN MUSIC STORES!! that's a whole other story .. O.K. Back To What I'm Saying ---- > I enjoy going to concerts and drum clinics, meeting people from all over the world, reading half of a book and then putting it down for no apparent reason, overanalyzing things to the point that I barely understand anymore, getting sidetracked and zoning out, watching Science, Travel and Discovery Channel and I'm deeply fascinated with all forms of paranormal phenomenon!!
