dear c.a.p.

um, would you consider joining me & these gents from Newcastle UK on an underground teeny- tiny release. Release would be One of your songs like "bank of holland" or "cure for stuttering" one of my new songs like "nuFuture scrapbook" & one by "dictaphone songs" titled "fear of flying pt. 2" - it would be released by this tiny label called "cottage industries" & then we will play 3 or 4 UK dates...manchester, London, South Shields & maybe Cork Ireland !!! - i know this sounds like a lot to digest but I will do the legwork along with Andrew from cottage industries...hope you say YES, ask mariSol how bad I want you to say YES

The Clampett Report,

Welcome to Billy's Bunker (Music Reviews)! It's been busy in the Bunker.

The latest review is of Wussy's self-titled CD released this month. That album is folk honest and rock hard. Chuck Weaver's guitar sound should be patented as "Wingéd Agony." This album by Wussy is a sexy, spiritual, human experience with folk honesty and cluster bombs of rock 'n' roll.

Wussy (Eponymous) ~ This Wussy Will Hit You Like A Truck
IsWhat?! "NuTakes" ~ Avant Jazz Hip Hop Genius
Terry Riley "The Cusp of Magic" ~ Kronos Quartet & Wu Man..
Cedar Hill Refugees "Pale Imperfect Diamond" ~ Uzbek musicians, Appalachian singers and songs
Clare Means "White Bamboo" ~ extraordinary singer and songs
The Sundresses "Barkinghaus" ~ as though rock developed from 1920's jazz & blues
OGOGO "Redux" ~ truly avant guard guitar excursions and more
Jadoo "Prairie Fire" ~ improvised music from Uzbekistan and the U.S.

Thank you for being my friend!

I miss the days of NuCity, Ant Farmers and 99¢ hamburgers.
Thank god for Dave Dabney who took a chance on me when I'd been unemployed in the graphics industry for over a year! I hope to see you if and when I ever make it back to the Burque! :)
